Private & Semi-Private Lessons at Studio Too

At Studio Too, we offer two flexible lesson formats designed to support personalized growth and focused training: private and semi-private lessons.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are one-on-one sessions with an experienced instructor, offering the highest level of individual attention. These lessons are completely customized to your goals, skill level, and areas of focus—whether you're refining technique, preparing for a performance, or developing choreography. You’ll move at your own pace, receive detailed feedback, and work through challenges with guidance tailored specifically to you.

Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private lessons offer a more collaborative setting while still providing focused instruction. These small group lessons typically include 2–4 students, but can accommodate up to 9 dancers of similar skill levels. Semi-privates are ideal for dancers looking to improve in a shared environment—offering both personalized coaching and the benefit of learning alongside peers. You'll receive individual attention from the instructor while also engaging in group exercises and supportive peer interaction.

*all dancers are charged the same flat fee regardless of how many dancers are in the lesson

At Studio Too, we are committed to providing professional, safe, and personalized dance training that goes above and beyond. To continue offering the highest quality instruction while keeping our rates aligned with other local dance and acro facilities, private and semi-private lesson pricing will adjust beginning Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.

Lesson Cancelation Policy

Cancellation Policy for Private Lessons:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled lesson:
- In the event of a cancellation made 48 hours or more before the scheduled lesson, a refund will be issued to the student's account as a credit.
- The credit can be used towards rescheduling a future private lesson within a specified timeframe, subject to instructor availability.
- No cash refunds will be provided; the refund will be issued as a credit on the student's account.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson:
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson, no refund or credit will be provided.
- The instructor has reserved the time slot specifically for the student, and short notice cancellations do not allow sufficient time to fill the vacancy.
- It is the responsibility of the student to inform the instructor as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Rescheduling:
- Students are encouraged to reschedule their lessons rather than canceling whenever possible.
- Rescheduling requests should be made in advance, ideally with a minimum of 48 hours' notice, to allow for proper coordination with the instructor.
Instructor Cancellations:
- In the rare event that the instructor needs to cancel a private lesson, the student will be notified as soon as possible.
- In such cases, the student will have the option to reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time or receive a full refund.

Please note that this cancellation policy is subject to change and may vary depending on the instructor. It is advisable for students to review and agree to the specific cancellation policy provided by the dance studio or instructor they choose to work with.
