FAQs
Essential policies & conditions ensure a seamless experience for all participants. Stay informed about our guidelines regarding attendance, attire, and behavior to make the most of your visit to Studio Too.
Price Changes
As the costs of rent, utilities, and supplies have risen in 2024, we've had to adjust the pricing for private and semi-private lessons as well as group classes accordingly. These increases reflect our commitment to maintaining the quality of instruction amidst rising operational expenses. We believe these adjustments are essential to sustain the excellence of our services and ensure a conducive learning environment for all dancers. Beginning Friday, June 7th, all lessons will be subject to the new rates.
Please be aware that class passes expire 6 months from the purchase date. Studio Too is no longer offering unlimited class pass options, and class passes do not apply to any POP UP classes.
How to Schedule a Semi-Private Lesson
To sign up for a semi-private lesson at Studio Too, simply follow our easy process. Initially, one parent must register for the lesson on behalf of the participant.
However, all dancers involved must have an existing account with Studio Too before signing up, with a credit card saved on file. At the end of the lesson, charges for the other dancers will be applied.
It's important to note our strict cancellation policy, as cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson will incur charges.
In the event that other dancers do not attend the semi-private, the attending dancer will be charged for an individual lesson, either in full or the difference.
Rest assured, our system ensures a smooth and convenient experience while upholding our commitment to excellence and fairness.
Studio Too Parent Etiquette
At Studio Too, we embrace an open-concept dance studio environment, where classrooms and lobbies are minimally separated by walls.
While we warmly welcome parents to observe their dancers, we kindly ask that they do so quietly and without causing distraction.
Our primary focus is on educating and inspiring dancers, and we greatly appreciate parents' cooperation in maintaining a conducive learning atmosphere.
Should a parent's behavior disrupt a lesson or class, they may be politely asked to leave.
We value the respect and consideration shown towards our teachers and the space they create for artistic growth and expression.
Expiration Dates of Lessons & Classes
At Studio Too, we strive to provide a seamless experience for all our students, including clear policies regarding expiration dates for private lessons and group classes.
Private Lessons:
-
Private lessons expire three months from the date of purchase. If you need to cancel your lesson in advance, you have three months from the purchase date to reschedule.
-
In the event that Studio Too cancels your lesson, we will work diligently with you to ensure your lesson is rescheduled promptly. Please note that no refunds are given, as all sales are final.
Group Classes:
-
For one-class drop-in passes, they expire 30 days from the date of purchase, not the date of the class registering for.
-
Two, three, four, and five class passes now expire six months from the date of purchase (previously 12 months).
-
POP UP class passes are valid only until the date of the POP UP class. These types of classes are billed separately, and passes cannot be transferred or refunded. If you cannot attend the POP UP class after purchasing the pass, you forfeit the pass.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these policies as we strive to maintain the quality and integrity of our classes while providing flexibility and convenience for our students. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.
Dance and Acro Attire
When attending a dance or acro class at Studio Too, it's essential to wear clothing that allows for ease of movement and comfort.
Opt for fitted attire such as leggings, dance shorts, or athletic pants paired with a form-fitting top or leotard. This enables the instructor to observe and correct alignment while ensuring freedom of movement.
Avoid overly baggy clothing that may restrict movement or pose a safety hazard. Additionally, consider wearing layers that can be easily removed as the class progresses and body temperature rises.
For footwear, ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or bare feet are typically appropriate depending on the style of dance or acro being taught.
Lastly, hair should be secured away from the face and neck to prevent distraction and ensure safety during movements.
By dressing appropriately for class, you can maximize your comfort and focus on honing your skills and technique in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Private Lesson Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or MORE before the private lesson.

-
Cash refunds will not be provided; the refund will be issued as a credit on the student's account.
Cancellations made LESS than 48 hours before the private lesson.
